Karen & James had a lovely wedding tucked away in the beautiful desert scenery surrounding Saguaro Buttes. I photographed this wedding as a second photographer to my colleague Tim Nichols. One of many weddings we have done at Saguaro Buttes, we knew exactly where and how to get all the best photos for Karen & James. The two of them were such a nice couple and were wonderful to work with. This was my first wedding where the groom was in his Military uniform. As a strong supporter of our nation's heroes, I was honored to be able to capture James, a United States Marine, in full glory on his special day. Congratulations, Karen & James! :)
The Maynards were a pleasure to work with – such a nice family! We started off in the El Barrio Viejo district near downtown Tucson and then went across the freeway to an area along the Santa Cruz River Park. This shoot was very special for me as it was the first time I have photographed a proposal! When they told me about it, I was ecstatic! I was so happy to be able to capture those special moments for Thomas and Mo! Congratulations! :)
We were very excited to hear that Jose & Catherine were getting married and wanted us to be their photographers! We had previously done a maternity shoot for Catherine for their adorable son, Alex (found pictured below). The two of them chose Celebrations Party Spot in Tucson for their ceremony and reception. With the help of Chance Calgher, my second photographer, and my girlfriend/assistant, Logan, I made sure to capture their special day from every angle from start to finish. We ended up with some awesome shots – I especially love the shots from the reception – some of my favorites of all time! Having been there for two of their major milestones, we hope to continue to be there to see the Estrada family grow for years to come (and get to photograph it!). Congratulations, Jose & Catherine! :)
I was very honored and happy to hear that Ashley, a senior at Cienega High School, insisted to her mother that I be her senior portraits photographer! She loved the photos I take at Agua Caliente Park and wanted to do her portraits there. We were able to capture some wonderful photos to celebrate her senior year. Congratulations, Ashley! :)
Photographing the Dobiecki family was fun – and interesting! The boys (and by boys, I mean the four grown men!) were a little troublesome to keep under control, but we got through it! =D Joking aside, we really did enjoy working with them and were happy to capture their family (and all of their quirkiness)! And we just love the candid black-and-white photo of Patti & Atticus below! :)
As a gift to Logan (my wonderful girlfriend / assistant) and her family, I photographed their 4 generations of girls. We did a fairly brief but beautiful shoot at Papago Park in Phoenix, AZ. I was very happy to capture these photos that they can cherish and pass on to generations to come! :)
Caleb, a senior at Cienega High School, chose Agua Caliente Park for his senior portaits. We had a great time working with him and his family! They have become wonderful friends of ours – we would love to work with them again! Congratulations, Caleb! :)
Headshots are a must for a professional in any career, especially aspiring students! Here is a snapshot of all the headshots I did in Fall 2016, ranging from college undergraduates to working professionals. I enjoyed meeting each of them and being able to provide the photo that they use everywhere from LinkedIn and Facebook to email profiles to business cards!
Luann and her children, Shelby and Nick, along with their adorable dogs, Lacey and Domino, gathered for a family photo shoot at Agua Caliente Park. Logan and I LOVE dogs so we were very excited to hear the shoot involved dogs! They were great models! But of course, Logan and I enjoyed working with the humans of the family too! We had a great time photographing all of them and would love to do so again in the future! All five of them were awesome! :)
Meli, representative for the trendy LuLaRoe clothing company and proud mother of an adorable little guy named Owen, wanted to do a photoshoot to promote her LuLaRoe clothes (and to get a few family photos of course!). We did the shoot in the El Barrio Viejo district near Downtown Tucson and got a variety of lovely shots against this authentic scenery. Having always wanted to do a shoot here, I was excited! Logan and I loved working with Meli’s fun, friendly family and hope to work with them again in the future. :)
Catherine and José are expecting their baby boy Alex and are beyond excited about it. I was ecstatic to do their shoot at the charming Empire Ranch in Sonoita. The sun graced us with the perfect mix of sunrays peeking through the trees for some of my favorite shots from the shoot. Logan and I had a wonderful time working with Catherine and José and loved the ideas/props they came with! The balloons were my personal favorite – very cute! We are excited to photograph their wedding, and hopefully their new FAMILY in the future! Congratulations to Catherine, José, and Alex! :)
Nikki and her boys chose to go the beautiful Starr Pass Resort for their photoshoot. While short, I think we captured some beautiful snapshots of their family at this captivating spot tucked away in the desert mountains.
Daylen, a car enthusiast in his senior year at Cienega High School, did his photoshoot at the colorful La Placita Village in Downtown Tucson, accompanied by sister Kaylie and mom TJ, who popped in for a few family shots. This was my last shoot at La Placita before it unfortunately closed. I am happy Daylen could get his photos done here —they turned out great! Congrats, Daylen! :)
Chris and Jess had a gorgeous wedding at the wonderful Kingan Gardens in Tucson. I had the opportunity to photograph this lovely, adventurous couple as a second photographer alongside colleague Chance Calgher. They had some of the coolest little nature/adventure decorations I have ever seen (like the pinecones below), an awesome local band performance, and a gorgeous venue to top it all off. Congratulations, Chris & Jess! :)
Chad and Rebecca hosted a lovely wedding surrounded by their dearest friends and family. Chance, Logan, and myself worked together to document all the greatest moments from their special day. Surrounded by beautiful desert scenery, we photographed until Sunset and had a great time doing it. We look forward to hopefully continue photographing their family as it grows! Congratulations, Chad & Rebecca! :)
